I think that with all of the teenage angst, acne and frustration, we often forget why being a teenager is great. It is a beautiful period of our lives, when we begin to blossom as people and really find our sense of self in a society. Here are some of the reasons why being a teenager is great! 1. Happy medium The reason why being a teenager is great is because it is the only time of our life when we find a happy medium between childhood and adulthood. 2. An excuse to try different things It is absolutely acceptable for teens to change their hairdos or fashion style whenever they feel like it because after all, we have to try it all before we find one that depicts our true selves. 3. Life filled with exciting things For some, teenage years are the peak of their lifetimes, which is understandable. Berry and Yogurt Smoothie Here’s a simple and delicious smoothie for the morning rush. Blend frozen fruit (banana and berries work well) with Greek yogurt and a liquid of your choice (milk, juice, coconut water-whatever you like).
